Hilltop/Crestmoor

Hilltop/Crestmoor

Since the 1940s, Hilltop has stood as one of Denver’s grande dame neighborhoods. Although small (one square mile to be exact), Hilltop is one of Denver’s most scenic and sought-after neighborhoods. It is situated in the southeastern part of the city, and offers a charming and peaceful atmosphere. The neighborhood gets its name from its slightly elevated topography, providing some homes with beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Hilltop is known for its tree-lined streets, well-maintained properties, and a mix of 22 different architectural styles, some of which are Tudor, English Cottage, Mediterranean Revival and Mid-Century Modern. You'll find larger lots in this area than other central Denver neighborhoods (e.g. Wash Park, Bonnie Brae, Cory-Merrill), with the larger lots ranging from 12,500-18,000 SF. Home prices begin at $1.5 million and are predominantly single-family homes, offering residents a sense of spaciousness and privacy. The neighborhood's well-established character is reflected in its mature trees and well-kept yards, creating an inviting ambiance.

Just east adjacent of Hilltop, the Crestmoor neighborhood features quant tree-lined and curvy streets with similar home styles as Hilltop. There is a special swim + tennis club within the neighborhood called Crestmoor Swimming and Tennis Club. Membership is open to all Denver residents, however they cap membership at 350 families per year with a one in and one out policy. Reinstatements, Children of Members, and residential owners of homes located in Crestmoor Filings I & II have priority.

Residents of Hilltop and Crestmoor enjoy convenient access to various amenities, including parks, schools, and shopping centers. Nearby Cranmer Park and Robinson Park, and a sundial plaza in Hilltop offer open green spaces and stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, making it a popular gathering spot for sports and locals. There's Crestmoor Park in Crestmoor, a popular park in the area, plus access to walking trails, tennis courts, and softball facilities. Additionally, these neighborhoods are in close proximity to Cherry Creek North, a high-end shopping district known for its boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries.  With proximity to shopping, entertainment, and recreation options, this is the best of Denver living.

EAT +  DRINK

With Hilltop’s close proximity to Cherry Creek, homeowners love the easy access to some of the city’s best restaurants, however, you will find a few neighborhood dining spots such as Locanda Del Borgo’s for Italian, Park BurgerHigh Point Creamery for deliciously unique ice cream. For groceries, pop over to Pete’s Fruits & Vegetables. Pete Moutzouris has owned the shop since 1974. You’ll find fresh local produce, prepared foods, Greek specialties, plus an array of wine and pretty florals.
